Frequently asked questions

Does it work for mobile / laptop / AC / TV repair?

Yes — any device-based repair. The "Device Type" field is free-text so you can put Phone, Laptop, AC, TV, Washing Machine, Inverter, anything.

Can I print a job card receipt for the customer?

Yes — generate a PDF with job number, device details, advance paid, expected delivery date. Print it or share via WhatsApp.

How do I handle parts that I order from a vendor?

Track them as products (with purchase price + sale price). When you use one in a job, stock auto-deducts. When you reorder, just create a Purchase Order.

Can I invoice in cash and skip GST?

Yes — set GST rate to 0% on items. The invoice will still print but without tax. Useful for sub-₹40L turnover shops not yet GST registered.

Multiple technicians — can each have their own login?

Yes on Pro plan (5 users). Assign jobs to specific technicians, restrict who can see what. Owner sees everything.

What if I damage the customer's device?

Add notes to the job card with photos. Track resolution status. Customer history stays linked to phone number for future disputes.
